Rule of thirds focuses on the subject at an angle at a corner shot.Gives the picture more depth. You not only see the image but the background as well in which in turn gives the picture more of a variety to look at.

This is using great rule of thirds, I feel you found a good emphasis it reminds me of a pinapple.
